Labels:text | screenshot | font OCR: Boston I was walking down Boston Place the other day, minding my own business, when I realized with a start that everything had gone to black & white; roses were dark as aspen char, and my hands the shade of lilies. Only the streets and sidewalks remained unchanged. Now, I've been told this happens to everyone, sooner or later, I'm not saying it was anything special. . . there was no sudden outbreak of pill-box hats or hep cats in zoot suits, and Dusenbergs retained their rarity. The whole episode, in fact, has never happened again. These days, when I walk down the street, the sky is blue and cash is green; I forget that it ever happened, until I pass a red-haired girl in the street, her lips pale & grey as ash.
